It is always useful to consider how the church is perceived by the general culture. PBS runs a weekly program called "Religion and Ethics" that is easy to follow because one can join a list-mail system that will send a brief summary of each new program to your email. This week, there is one about "God TV" in China and another on a Presbyterian church that has used its "capital drive" to build a homeless shelter called the "Compassion Center".
